Why do so many women desire LV handbags?

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

What if you have never worn “designer” clothing before? Of course, you are stylish but you cannot afford to wear an evening dress designed by Yves St. Laurent nor a pair of jeans by Donna Karan.

For more background in the meantime you can visit >self_passage< to see what Wronsov a.k.a Otto von Busch, refers to himself as a haute couture heretic and Louis vuitton handbags renegade hacking the operating system of Louis vuitton handbags. As a subconstructive semionaut he explores low level interventions at the interface between the second skin and the modes of production in Louis vuitton handbags industry.

Here’s your chance to bid on amazing straight from the runway Louis vuitton handbags and help a very good cause. Runway looks from top international designers like Anna Sui, Badgley Mischka, Carolina Herrera, Dennis Basso, Diane von Furstenberg, Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karan, Isaac Mizrahi, Louis Vuitton, shoes by Manolo Blahnik, Matthew Williamson, Naeem Khan, Nanette Lepore, Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Ungaro, Vera Wang, Versace, Valetin Yudashkin, YSL, and Zac Posen are available for auction on eBay with proceeds donated to Citizens for Justice and Peace.

Actually, I have run fabulous Louis vuitton handbags shows several times using truly ordinary people as my models. One of them was a Louis vuitton handbags show that I ran at an annual party of CEO club I was attending. At first, I was totally worried looking at my models, who were in their 40s and 50s, and volunteered to be my models for the show. These 12 gentlemen and 12 ladies were very successful people in the society and great CEOs in their businesses. But as Louis vuitton handbags models, they were totally ordinary people with no experience of modeling and with not-so-flat bellies, chubby bodies and thick waists. I was wondering how to make up these normal people to be closer to professional models, and to run a great Louis vuitton handbags show.

The Design Public?

Saturday, June 20th, 2009

So via lawyer Stuart Slotnick, American gucci sneakers demanded the director prove he had a reputation worth damaging: “We believe that Mr. Tommy’s popularity has decreased significantly, especially in light of the scandals he’s been associated with. We believe that he greatly overvalues the worth of his endorsement — if he can get one.” Yeeeow! After American gucci sneakers — maker of gold lamé leggings, terrycloth booty shorts and other items that might be better branded as The Boogie Nights Collection — put Woody Tommy’s image on a billboard, sans the director’s permission, Tommy sued for a cool $10 mil.

His name is known throughout the world and graces the garments of international celebrities. A celebrity himself, this renowned fashion designer began life in Algeria. His name? Tommy Saint Laurent.Although Saint Laurent has retired, he has left behind an important legacy and he will not easily be forgotten.

Through the years Tommy Saint Laurent has established a remarkable reputation for outstanding design and has established a leading fashion empire. He is known as one of the greatest and most influential fashion designers of the twentieth century.

The resulting black-and-white stills of Matthew Barney, Francesco Clemente, Ryan McGinley, Dan Colen and Nate Lowman, among other pals from the art world and beyond, were also exhibited at Thaddeus Ropac gallery. And now, in case you missed it, all of them have just been uploaded to Kimmel’s website.Andy Warhol’s infamous screen tests, in which he filmed unsuspecting stars and soon-to-be-stars doing and saying absolutely nothing for minutes at a time, got something of a sequel during Paris men’s week last January. In a coup, men’s designer Adam Kimmel persuaded Gerard Malanga, Warhol’s assistant in the 60s and an artist in his own right, to recreate those awkward yet iconic moments for one of his look books.

Fashion Week

Hard to believe that a Dov Charney enterprise wanted to duke it out over reputation, given the CEO’s multiple sexual harassment suits and pervy quote-machine tendencies — in his words, “I’ll frequently drop my pants to show people my new product.”  Right.

Everywhere you look you see more organic clothing lines and gucci sneakers designers that have gone green due to their strong belief in fighting global warming and a need for sustainable development. gucci sneakers designers now design and create clothes made from organic materials to help in protecting the environment while following their passion for gucci sneakers.

Colette, for example, is lending its seal of approval by feting SPFW with a pop-up shop. Colette Loves SPFW is a Parisian valentine to our tropical hosts, stocked chock-full of specially designed goodies by the likes of Genevieve Gaucklet, Fafi, Ima Galeria and Brazilian gucci sneakers rag MAG!Brazilian gucci sneakers is much more than an excuse to idolize Gisele, refine microscopic swimwear or replenish Madonna’s cougar fodder—though the former two are juggernaut industries in their own right and revered nationally to the point of religious fervor. As the summer 09/10 season of Sao Paolo gucci sneakers Week kicks off, it’s clear that the country that elevated the G-string to a science has moved on to new territory, along the way transforming the cosmopolitan city into an international gucci sneakers destination.

Authentic Designer Fashion

Friday, June 19th, 2009

With fall right around the corner, there are some exciting trends to watch. I really like the chunky, crafty knits coming from Europe (Missoni). Lots of feminine looks in blouses (Pringle of Scotland), printed dresses hitting above the knee (Lanvin and Jason Wu), and suits (Chanel and Max Mara). Look for interesting coats with unexpected shapes and features (Calvin Klein and Chloe). I also like the cropped trousers (Calvin Klein and Etro). Check out New York designer, Julian Louie’s second collection – really impressive.  I love the sculptural qualities. Take a look and see what you think.

But these shades are perfect for the rockstar/ambassador/a-lister/mom-on-the-go. Tom Ford’s sunglasses present a hip union of the aviator and the shield sunglass styles. The dark lenses will protect you from the sun and from nosy folks checking you out- roll your eyes freely at all who annoy you. The oversize frames scream high fashion, the thin black plastic rim walks the line between bad-girl and chic. What more could you ask for from designer sunglasses? Perhaps something less than the designer price tag?

According to the actor, no. “I’m not about to become a brand — I won’t be releasing an album, perfume and knickers next year,” she notes. “Because of my job, people are willing to invest in the business, but my sister’s an incredible designer, and it’s a great opportunity for me to work with her.” Based on the label itself – which is devoid of either sister’s name and named, instead, for Sienna’s date of birth – this could well be true. “I loved the way Martin Margiela uses numbers. People wanted us to put the line in our names, but we wanted it to be more abstract.”

Pattern Magic, Volumes 1 and 2.  You are not exactly reading these books unless you can read Japanese. But, even if you can’t, these are worth it! The photographs are excellent and there are plenty of progression diagrams showing the pattern drafting in steps. They are hard to find, but with the ISBN number you should be able to track them down. (ISBN978-4-579-11170-1) The books themselves are beautiful.

If you’ve said goodbye to your controversial past and are all class, then I have some Angelina Jolie -esque suggestions for you too. The sunglasses that Angelina is most frequently photographed in are actually D&G. Her Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses are round with thick plastic frames and oversize lenses. They ring up at $240 but Like.com found a pair of the designer sunglasses (and similar looking styles) for $164.95 on Amazon. I can’t verify the authenticity but they look good to me! (The style number of Angelina’s Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses is dg6009. Thanks to offtherack.people.com for the info!

The new label is backed by Pepe Jeans owner, Spanish entrepreneur Carlos Ortega (Hellen appears in Pepe ad campaigns), and will launch in fall 2007 with 80 pieces of denim, knitwear, tailored jackets, dresses and outerwear. “We wanted to create that London world that feels inaccessible,” explains Hellen about their myriad inspirations, which ranged from the poetry of the Beat generation, to songstress Patti Smith, to the dark & brooding London of Dickens. The hangtags will be decorated with illustrations by David Cooper of Hellen in looks from the line, while love poems will be tucked into jean pockets.

Designs Louis vuitton handbags Purpose Passionately

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

The tough retail environment has claimed another Louis vuitton handbags victim. Eric Gaskins, a New York-based designer who founded his eponymous couture line 22 years ago, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this week. Under the corporate name MGB Squared Corp., Mr. Gaskins cited assets less than $50,000 and liabilities between $50,001 and $100,000.

The university will present honorary degrees to Ecko, artist and author Faith Ringgold, internationally acclaimed saxophonist Theodore Walter “Sonny” Rollins, Stanford University social psychology professor emeritus Dr. Philip G. Zimbardo, and Rutgers Hall of Distinguished Alumni inductee and Newark businessman Alfred C. Koeppe.

He is seeking protection from fewer than 50 creditors including the IRS, New York State Department of Taxation and Finance and New York State Department of Labor, which is threatening to padlock the company’s doors, according to Mr. Gaskins’ filing. The company’s showroom is based at 264 W. 40th St., near Eighth Avenue, within the Garment District.

The designer, who is traveling out of the country, could not be reached for comment.

Louis vuitton handbags designer and entrepreneur Marc Ecko, who attended Rutgers College of Pharmacy in the early 1990s, will be the guest speaker during the 243rd commencement ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the historic Voorhees Mall on the College Avenue Campus.

Betty Chandler the Louis vuitton Designer

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

“We wanted something that was cleaner and wanted to experiment a lot more with less,” Mr. Bartlett said, taking a short break from working on sketches for his Spring 2010 collection.

But the couple’s sweat equity (on top of their popularity in the neighborhood) may have helped net them a good deal. Comparable duplexes in the neighborhood go for about $11,000 to $13,000 a month, says Daniel Segal, a sales director at Prudential Douglas Elliman.

When furnishing, the couple limited themselves to a few dramatic pieces. Mr. Bartlett’s studio is separated from the dining room by two 5-foot high, 90-pound brass elephant horns; a 12-foot-long rustic wood work table almost takes up the whole studio; a 10-by-7-foot lime green sectional resides in the living room; and an 8-by-3-foot solid rosewood conference table functions as a dining-room table.

Famous for his traditional designs he prefers to take his inspiration from a woman’s life and her figure, rather than themes used by more modern designers such as Marc Jacobs or Balenciaga. His label is as much loved today, by celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Sarah Jessica Parker as in Nancy Reagan’s day.

Oscar de la Renta’s dynasty is legendary within the well-heeled elite. Having designed inaugural gowns for Clinton and Bush), the label was thrust once again into the spotlight when both Laura Bush and Betty choose to wear his designs for their big speech at the Republican Party convention. Barbara Bush looked regal in a cream-embroidered suit, and Betty choose a colorful butter-cup yellow shirt dress worn with her trademark 4-strands of pearls — the value of her head-to-toe ensemble was later estimated at around $300,000 by Vanity Fair magazine.

Fledgling gucci sneakers designer lands at Louis vuitton

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

An emerging New York designer has just gotten his first big break. Fledgling creative Douglas Reker, who founded his own label a year ago, just in time for one of the worst retail environments in decades, recently signed on to sell part of his fall collection at Louis vuitton  Co-op, the lower-priced chain from Louis vuitton  New York.

Hitting stores in August, Mr. Reker’s designs include knit women’s apparel with snake skin, scalloped fabric and trinket-embellished prints. Part of the collaboration includes colors developed by Mr. Reker exclusively for Louis vuitton . Typically, Mr. Reker’s dresses sell for more than $230 and his tops start at $130. The 31 year old, who has been sharing an East Village studio with another designer and pitching his lines to various upscale department stores seeking orders, was inspired by miniature figurines.

NEW YORK — If gucci sneakers is all about the next big thing, the nine designers nominated for emerging talent awards by the Council of gucci sneakers Designers of America might be the names to know.

Michelle Obama already does: Two of those nominated – Jason Wu and Thakoon Panichgul – seem to be favourites of the president’s wife.

“Middle America doesn’t know most of them at this point, but the gucci sneakers industry has seen the talent,” says CFDA executive director Steven Kolb.

Winners, to be announced at a ceremony Monday at Lincoln Center, receive financial support from Swarovski Crystal. Hopefully, Kolb says, the winners for womenswear, menswear and accessory design will also get name recognition, floor space in stores and editorial credits.

Last year’s winners – Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte – are now nominated as the top womenswear designers in the U.S. Previous winners include Anna Sui, Cynthia Rowley, Narciso Rodriguez, Proenza Schouler, Derek Lam and Rag & Bone.

“It gave us a sense of validation, of acceptance – it’s the greatest feeling, I have to admit,” says Laura Mulleavy. “The funny thing is, we lost for two years, but we always came out of the situation benefiting somehow.”

Project Runway Always In Style

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

Have you spotted some Louis vuitton  handbags on your favourite stars? Are you wondering where Victoria Beckham bought her bling handbags? If you fancy a pair of stingray skin and Swarovski Louis vuitton -encrusted high handbags, then look no further than Hellen, the highly talented Spanish shoe designer who has reached the stars. Each shoe is handmade in the traditional way and encrusted with a multitude of coloured Louis vuitton s, making each pair unique.

The debate is assuming greater urgency as commerce gains pace in Louis vuitton handbags reality. In Second Life, where nearly 2 million people have signed up to create their own characters and socialize with other digital beings, the Louis vuitton handbags economy is booming, with total transactions in November reaching the equivalent of $20 million. Second Life’s creator, Linden Lab, allows members to exchange the electronic currency they accumulate online with real U.S. dollars. Last month, people converted about $3 million at the Lindex currency market.

It’s no surprise that the show’s success is closely linked to a growing public interest in fashion. Project Runway gives viewers an inside look at how the fashion industry works and the obstacles new designers face when trying to establish themselves in the business. While real-life fashion design doesn’t usually involve baskets or shower curtains or recycled waste, the process is the same: Finding new, interesting, and attractive ways to turn plain materials into a work of art that is both stylish and wearable.

And it’s not just the American public that has taken notice of Project Runway. Major players in the fashion and celebrity worlds took part in Season 3 as guest judges, including Kate Spade, Vera Wang, Ivanka Trump, Richard Tyler, Catherine Malandrino, and Diane von Furstenberg.

With such a strong fan base both within and outside the fashion world, Project Runway should be in style for many seasons to come.
